Global Corrections for Cross-Country Vehicle Navigation
To get centimeter-accurate location, your GNSS receiver needs correction data. For vehicles that traverse large distances or multiple countries, relying on a base station for RTK corrections is impractical due to distance limitations—typically less than 35 km. Using local NTRIP correction services is effective within a single country, but traveling across borders can lead to issues, such as having to reconnect to different local RTK service providers and dealing with changes in coordinate systems.
